City Heights Public Town Hall
Wednesday | August 3, 2022
City Heights held a public Town Hall on August 3, 2022, to talk with Cle Elum residents, business owners and other area stakeholders regarding the community.
It was a huge success—approximately 90 people showed. We are looking to continue deepening our connections with Cle Elum and North Kittitas County as a whole. Several community VIPs attended the event, including CEDA Executive Director Debbie Bogart, and Rahmi Kutsal, development program / project manager, along with our Outdoor Advisory Group friends Jeff Newman and John DeWitt.
During the event, we covered community updates and answered questions regarding the City Heights master plan, new public-access parks, infrastructure improvements, and historic preservation.
Many outdoor enthusiasts stopped by the outdoor amenities station and were happy to hear about the new and improved public-access bike park. Attendees enjoyed looking at the maps and asking questions regarding City Heights’ location, the number of new houses being built, development phases, and critical infrastructure upgrades.
Overall, great connections and new friends were made, and we look forward to our continued growing relationship with the Cle Elum community.
